021 Révision et Planification-Lundi
Nou nan kòmansman senkyèm semèn nou depi n
ap etidye nan liv Pwovèb la.
This is the beginning of the fifth week that we
have been looking into the book of Proverbs.
It has been our hope that we could see the
connection between the book of Proverbs
and the Gospels, Matthew,
Mark, Luke and John.
An fenn kont, sa nou vle wè ladan yo se
Jezu.
Ultimately what we want to see in them is Jesus.
Nou vle konnen li pi byen.
We want to know him better.
Nou vle konnen
ki plan li genyen pou lavi nou.
We want to know what his plan is for our lives.
Mwen gen konfyans pandan m ap kontinye ak
etid sa a,
I believe that, as we proceed with this study,
se egzakteman sa k pral pase.
this is exactly what is going to occur.
Mwen ta renmen pran yon minit pou repase.
I’d like to take a minute to review.
Men nou pral sèlman wè rapid rapid kèk nan bagay nou te daja di jiska
prezan yo,
But we will cover briefly some of the
things that have been mentioned so far,
pou nou ka kenbe yo nan lespri nou,
to keep them in mind;
pou nou ka konnen ki
kote nou prale.
so that we know where it is that we are going.
Nap li nan Pwovèb chapit premye vèsè 2,
We are reading out of Proverbs chapter 1 verse
2,
“Pwovèb sa yo la pou aprann moun sa ki
rele bon konprann ak disiplin.”
“The purpose of these Proverbs is to teach
people wisdom and discipline.”
Nou tout ka sèvi ak plis disiplin nan lavi
nou.
We can all use more discipline in our lives. How
can you be a disciple of Christ without discipline?
“Yo la tou pou ede moun konprann pawòl
granmoun.”
“And to help them understand wise sayings.”
Gen kèk bagay ki konsène Bib la ki bezwen
esplikasyon.
There are things about the Bible that need
explanation.
E Pwovèb sa yo pral ede nou nan yo.
And these Proverbs are going to help us.
“Pa mwayen Pwovèb
Through these Proverbs,
sa moun pral resevwa
ansèyman ak
people receive instruction and discipline,
rezonab.
good conduct and doing what is right, just
and fair.
manke konprann,
These Proverbs will make the simple minded
clever,
yo pral bay jenn moun yo konesans ak direksyon.”
and they will give knowledge and purpose to young people.
Lòtjou m tande yon moun di,
I heard someone say the other day
bi li nan lavi
a, se mouri ak jenès nan li toujou,
that his goal in life was to die young,
men pou li ta gentan fin vye
granmoun nèt.
and to do this at as old an age as possible.
Pwovèb sa yo pral bay konesans ak prensip
These Proverbs will give knowledge and purpose
pou nou menm ki ta renmen toujou rete jenn.
to us who are desire to live young.
Vèsè 9 la di:
Verse 9 it says,
“Sa ou pral aprann ladan yo,
se va tankou bèl foula nan tèt ak kolye nan kou ou.”
“What you will learn from them
will crown you with grace and cloth you with honor.”
Gen kèk bon jan pwomès la a, pa vre?
There are some tremendous promises here.
Vèsè 23: “Vini, vin koute mwen.
Verse 23: “Come here and listen
Ma vide
yon lespri bon konprann sou nou epi fè nou vin saj.”
. I will pour out
the spirit of wisdom upon you and make you wise.”
Ma fè nou gen bon konprann!” Pwovèb sa yo
gen kapasite pou fè nou vin saj.
I will make you wise! These proverbs have the
potential of making us wise.
Men, gen kèk avètisman ladan yo la a tou.
But there are also warnings that are in here.
Li di: “Mwen pap reponn lè yo rele m, menm
si yo mache chache m ak tout kè yo.”
He said, “I will not answer when they cry for
help, even though they anxiously search for me.”
voye bon konprann jete mete tèt yo nan yon sitiyasyon danjere.
Don’t you remember looking at this? Those who
reject wisdom place themselves in a very precarious position.
Bondye pap reponn yo lè yo rele li.
God won’t answer when they cry out for help.
Li te pote tèt li bannou. Li te fè nou
konnen li. Men sila yo ki voye l jete e ki voye bon konprann li an
jete, yo riske chans pou li ta reponn yo a.
He has given off himself. He has revealed
himself. But, for those to reject him and reject his wisdom, they
jeopardize the possibility of him answering them.
Yo mete tèt yo nan yo move sitiyasyon kote,
li gen dwa pa reponn lapriyè yo lè yo rele nan pye li.
They put themselves in the bad position where,
he might not answer their prayers when they cry out to him.
Men gen
anpil bèl pwomès laa. Nan Pwovèb chapit 2, li di:
But there are great promises here.
In Chapter 2, it says:
Si ou koute sa li di,lè sa a, wa konprann
sa ki dwat, jis epi rezonab.
When you do listen to him, then
you will understand what is right, just and fair.
Nou bezwen konnen sa ki ji! Nou bezwen
konnen sa ki dwat! “E wa konnen kijan pou w pran bon direksyon toutan.”
We need to know fairness! We need to know what
is right! “And you will know how to find the right course of action
every time.”
I need that; because I can tell you, many times
I have taken the wrong course of action.
Pi lwen nan Pwovèb li di: “Gen yon chemen
ki sanble dwat pou yon moun, men lal mennen dwat nan lanmò.”
Later in Proverbs it says, “There is a way that
seems right to a man, but the end thereof is death.”
Anpil fwa nou pran yon direction ki kareman
bay echèk. Men pwomès la la a nan liv Pwovèb la sèke, lè nou konprann
Many times we pursue a course of action, that
just plain crashes. But the promise here in the book of proverbs is
that, as we understand these wise sayings, we’ll do the right thing.
Nou pral pran bon direksyon toutan. “Paske
bon konprann pral rantre nan kè nou e konesans pral plen nou ak lajwa.
We will follow the right course of action every
time. “For wisdom will enter your heart and knowledge will fill you
with joy.
Bon direksyon pral ede nou reyisi. Bon
jijman pral veye sou nou.”
Wise planning will watch over you. Understanding
will keep you safe.”
There is safety here in this book of Proverbs.
Nan chapit 3 li di nou: “Sere kòmandman m
yo nan kè w, paske yo pral ba ou yon lavi long nan kè poze.”
In chapter 3, he tells us, “Store my commands in
your heart, for they will give you a long and satisfying life.”
I am hoping that as I read these key verses, you
will recall, if you have been listening to Table Talk some of the time
we spent on these various subjects.
For instance, we looked at the responsibility of
the king.
Te gen kèk prensip yo te bay pou yonrwa
nan liv Detewonòm.
There were instructions given to a king in
Deuteronomy.
pawòl Bondye a sou papye chak jou.
Those instructions said that he was supposed to
copy the word of God on a daily basis.
Li te dwe li yo. Li te dwe mache ak pawòl
la ak li toupatou.
He was supposed to read them. He was supposed to
keep the word with him.
Si li te sipoze fè sa, lè sa a li ta gen
krentif pou Senyè a nan lavi li.
If he were to do that, then he would have the
fear of the Lord in his life.
Nou bezwen krentif pou Senyè nan lavi nou
konprann.”
We need the fear of Lord in our life because
Proverbs tells us that “The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.”
Pa
konte sou pwòp bon jijman nou.”
His instructions in Proverbs are “to seek his
will in all you do and he will direct your path. Lean not on your own
understanding.”
Sa se revizyon. Nou bezwen li jodi a.
Nou pa dwe sèlman ap reflechi sou bagay sa yo, men nou dwe ap fè yo
tou jodi a.
This is review. We need to do it today. We are
not only to be thinking about these things; but we need to be doing
them today.
“Pa konte sou pwòp bon jijman nou. Rekonèt
li nan tout sa nap fè, e la dirije pye nou.”
“Lean not on your own understanding. In all
your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths.”
Eske w apiye sou Jezu jodi a? Eske w
apiye w sou Jezu?
Are you leaning on Jesus today? Are you leaning
on Jesus?
Eske wap koute Jezu jodi a pou l ka ba w
bon direksyon? Pou l ka montre w sa pou w fè?
Are you listening to Jesus today to give you the
right course of action? To show you what to do?
Eske w pral konte sou pwòp bon jijman w?
Eske w pral fè saki dwat nan pwòp je pa w jodi a?
Are you going to lean on your own understanding?
Are you going to do what’s right in your own eyes today?
Eske w pral aji “jan m vle? Oubyen eske w
pral aji jan limenm li vle jodi a?
Are you going to do it “my way”? Or are you
going to do it his way today?
Proverbs 3
tells us clearly to seek his will, acknowledge him in all your ways.
In all your ways and He will direct your path.
Verse 12 tells us, we have looked at this
subject; this is review.
“Paske Senyè a korije sila li renmen yo,
tankou yon papa korije pitit ki fè l plezi a.”
“For the Lord corrects those that he loves, just
as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.”
Lè Seyè a ap korije nou sa ka sanble di
pou nou.
Correction of the Lord can be very painful.
Nou te wè lè nou tap etidye sijè sa, sa ka
pote maladi.
We saw when we studied the subject that it can
involve sickness.
Sa ka pote pwoblèm lajan.
It can involve financial disaster.
Men pawòl la anseye nou, menm move bagay
sa rive nou, kapab senpleman rantre nan fòmasyon Bondye ap bannou.
But the word teaches us that even these bad
things that befall us, can be merely part of God’s instruction.
Bondye vin jwenn nou, epi korije nou,
paske li di li korije sila li renmen yo.
God comes to us, corrects us, because it says
that he corrects those whom He loves.
Eske nou korije sila nou renmen yo? Eske
nou bay pitit nou yo disiplin jodi a?
Are we correcting those whom we love? Are you
disciplining your children today?
Korije
pitit nou se yon fason pou n renmen li.
Have you seen to it that they are walking in a
way that would please the Lord? If you haven’t, you haven’t loved
them. Correcting your child is the way you love your child.
Lè nou avanse nan revizyon an nan vèsè 13,
li di, “Benediksyon pou moun ki jwenn bon konprann ak bon jijman.”
Alelouya.
Going on in review in verse 13, it says, “Happy
is the person who finds wisdom and gains understanding.” Alleluia.
Mwen te ka swete kontan jodi a. Ou vle
kontan jodi a? Enben, chache bon konprann, pran bon jijman.
I could wish to be happy today. You want to be
happy today? Find wisdom and gain understanding.
Vèsè 14, “Paske sa bon konprann bay pi bon
pase lajan, epi rekonpans li yo pi bon pase lò. Bon konprann gen plis
Verse 14, “For the profit of wisdom is better
than silver; and her wages are better than gold. Wisdom is more
precious than rubies; and nothing can be compared with her.”
Sa nap fè kounye a; sa nap etidye kounye
a, li gen plis valè pase lè ou genyen nan lotri.
What we are doing right now; what we are looking
at right now, is more valuable than winning the lottery.
Ou ka genyen nan lotri epi depanse tout;
epi apre sa al pase etènite nou nan lanfè.
You can win the lottery and spend it all; and
then spend you eternity in hell.
Men lè nou koute pawòl bon konprann yo,
api lè nou rantre yo nan lavi nou,nou gen yon bagay ki gen plis valè
pase lò, lajan oswa pyè ki koute chè. Beni swa Letènèl.
But as you listen to the words of wisdom; and as
you make them part of your life, you have something more precious than
gold, silver or rubies. Praise the Lord.
Bon, mwen te panse li te enpòtan pou nou
te repase kèk nan bagay sa yo.
Well, I thought it was important that we refresh
some of those things.
semèn pase yo; men nou te dwe rafrechi memwa nou sou yo ankò.
We have studied all of those things in the last
4 weeks, but they needed to be brought again to our mind.
It is the job of the Holy Spirit to bring these
things to our mind, to bring all things to our remembrance.
Pou n kontinye ak etid nou nan Pwovèb la,
pou jodi a nap gade nan Pwovèb chapit 3 vèsè 21 rive nan 27.
Going on in our study of Proverbs, for today we
are looking at Proverbs chapter 3, verse 21 through 27.
Koute pawòl Senyè a.
Hear the word of the Lord.
Li di: “Pitit mwen, pa wete lespri w sou
bon direksyon ak bon sans. Kenbe yo fò, paske yo pral fè ranpli lavi
w e pote onè ak repè pou ou”
It says, “My child, don’t lose sight of good
planning and insight. Hang on to them, for they will fill your life
and bring you honor and respect.”
Alelouya! Gen anpil bèl pwomès la a!
Alleluia! These are many good promises here!
“Yap kenbe w an sekirite sou wout ou, e yo
pral kenbe pye w pou l pa chape.”
“They will keep you safe on your way, and they
will keep your feet from stumbling.”
Gen sekirite nan liv Pwovèb la. “Ou ka
kouche san kè sote epi fè rèv ki enteresan.”
There is safety in the book of Proverbs. “You
can lie down without fear, and enjoy pleasant dreams.”
Kèk nan nou konn fè move rèv. Men sa a
pwomèt ak bon direksyon ak bon sans nou ka fè rèv ki enteresan.
Some of us have bad dreams. But this promises
that with good planning and insight, you can have pleasant dreams.
“Ou pap bezwen pè katastwòf oswa malè ki
konn tonbe sou mechan, paske Senyè a se sekirite w. Li pral kenbe pye
w pou w pa tonbe nan pèlen.”
“You do not need to be afraid of disaster or
destruction that comes upon the wicked, for the Lord is your security.
He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap.”
Ou pap bezwen pè anyen. Alelouya! Kenbe,
kapte, pran, mare kò w ak bon konprann Bondye a. Epi ou pap bezwen pè
katastwòf oswa malè.
You don’t have to be afraid. Alleluia! Hold
onto, Grabble with, Get access to, Grab onto this wisdom that comes
from God. And you will not need to be afraid of disaster or
destruction.
I point out to you that worry is just a form of
fear.
Many times in the scriptures, when Jesus met
with people, the first thing he said to them was, “Don’t be afraid”
Ou wè? Zafè pè a se nan moun menm li ye.
You see? It is a common condition for man to be
afraid.
La perèz la tache anba po nou. Li se
fason nou panse e sa santi. Men kèkfwa tou nou chache rezon pou n bay
tèt nou traka.
Fear is built into our flesh. It is the way we
think and feel. But sometimes we justify worry.
Nou di, “O, si m dwe yon bon gadò pou tout
sa Bondye ban mwen yo, lè sa m oblije bay tèt mwen.”
We say, “Oh, if I am going to be a good steward
of everything God has given me; then I have got to worry.
If I am going to protect my family, then I have
got to worry.
Men eske w konnen bat tèt ou a se yon fòm
laperèz?
But you know worry is just another form of fear?
Kounye a m pa konn si w pare pou sa, men
koute sa: laperèz se kwayans!
Now, I don’t know if you are ready for this, but
listen to this: fear is faith!
Laperèz se kwayans! Laperèz se kwè.
Fear is faith! Fear is believing.
paske ou kwè gen yon move bagay ki pral pase.
The reason why fear bothers you so much, it is
because you believe that something bad is going to happen.
Bat tèt ou se yon fòm kwayans.
Worry is a form of faith.
Pandan nap mande tet nou, eske dèt sa pral
peye. Pandan nap mande tet nou, eske timoun sa pral pran move chemen,
nap kwè bagay sa yo pral rive.
As we worry about whether that bill is going to
be paid, as we worry about whether that child is going to go astray,
we are actually having faith for that to occur.
Nap kwè nan katastwòf
We are believing in disaster.
Men anèyman ki nan Pwovèb la di: “Ou pap
bezwen pè katastwòf oswa malè ki konn vin sou mechan yo, paske Senyè a
se sekirite w”
But the instructions in Proverbs say, “You do
not need to be afraid of disaster or destruction that comes upon the
wicked, for the Lord is your security.”
Alelouya, Senyè a se sekirite w!
Alleluia, The Lord is your security!
Nan liv Sòm yo li di: “ Benediksyon pou
moun ki fò nan Senyè a”
In the book of Psalms, it says, “Happy are those
who are strong in the Lord.”
Nap li nan Sòm 84, “ki mete lespri yo sou
al lapriyè nan lavil Jerizalem!”
We are looking at Psalm 84, “Who have set their
minds on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem.”
Li di: “Lè yap mache nan mitan vale plenn
plen apre lapli fin tonbe.”
It says, “When they walk through the valley of
weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs, where pools of
blessing collect after the rains.”
This is a description of the people of God, who
have embraced the word of God.
ki te gen lespri bon konprann, konseye,
pisans ak fòs desann sou yo.”
and upon whom the spirit of wisdom,
council, might and strength have come.
Li di, lè yo ale nan yon plas kote tout
lòt moun nan lapenn, yo pral an reyalite pote lapè nan plas sa a.
It says when they go through a place where
everybody else is weeping, they are going to actually bring peace to
that place.
It says in verse 7, “they will continue to grow
stronger, and each of them will appear before God in Jerusalem.”
Se David kap ekri bagay sa e li di: “Yon sèl
jou pase nan lakou kay ou pi bon pase mil jou nenpòt lòt kote.
David is writing this thing, and he says, “A
single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else.
Mwen ta pito kanpe nan papòt kay Bondye
mwen an, pase pou m ta ap viv byen lakay mechan yo, paske Senyè Bondye
a se limyè nou ak pwoteksyon nou.
I’d rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my
God, than live the good life in the homes of the wicked, for the Lord
God is our light and our protector.
Li bannou gras ak respè.
He gives us grace and glory.
Bondye pap refize okenn bon bagay pou sila
yo kap fè sa ki dwat yo.
No good thing will the Lord withhold from those
who do what is right.
O Senyè tou pisan, benediksyon pou moun ki
kwè nan ou.
Oh Lord Almighty, happy are those who trust in
you.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not
to your own understanding.
Rekonèt li nan tout sa wap fè, e li va
dirije pye w.
Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will
direct your path.”
Beni swa Letènèl. Bon, demen nou pral
Mwen swete etid
sa yon benediksyon pou ou.
Praise the Lord. Well tomorrow we are going to
go on and look at the cost of being a disciple. I pray it will be a
blessing to you.
